Chahar’s career started with the domestic cricket circuit in Rajasthan. His first-class debut came in Nov 2010 against Hyderabad.
The young pacer, however, did his job well by delivering a legendary spell as he picked up 8 wickets for just 10 runs to help Rajasthan beat Hyderabad and finish it off. It was one of the most impressive bowling performances on an Indian debut in the Ranji Trophy.
