Challenges for KKR

Kolkata Knight Riders had to overcome several challenges in IPL 2026. The most worry was their pace department, especially due to injuries of Harshit Rana and Akash Deep. It was also uncertain as a result of his fitness and availability at the start of the tournament that Pathirana would be able to perform. A tough challenge was the loss of the active player, Andre Russell.
